IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR MACHINIST
Primary job responsibilities:
* Fabricate and repair all kinds of metal parts, tools and machines
* Use specialized knowledge of mathematical tables, charts, and dimensions; use of standard bolts, screws, threads and tapers
* Work from drawings, sketches, prints, written specifications, and verbal instructions
* Shape parts to precision dimensions within the tolerance prescribed
* Perform programming, set-up, and operation of computerized numerical control (CNC) machine shop equipment
* Build special molds for the pouring of various materials, which may require respirators or other breathing apparatus
Qualifications:
* Proficient in the use of machinist’s hand tools, including precision measuring instruments; operate all machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, shapers, and specialized machines
* Familiar with the working properties of different metals
* Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs; frequently lift 10-50 lbs; frequently bend, stoop, twist, squat, sit, stand, reach and walk
* Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required
* Experience: Minimum experience of 3 years is required
