Flooding in SEK forces closure of highways

Sunshine was welcomed Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning in Southeast Kansas, offering a reprieve from the frequent rains that have resulted in varying degrees of flooding throughout the area.

More than 10 inches of rain fell in portions of Labette and Neosho counties the last seven days.
