County upgrades ballot counter

OSWEGO — Labette County commissioners on Friday agreed to buy a new ballot scanning/counting machine for elections at a cost of just under $50,000.

Adding new poll pads for election workers to check voters in at polling locations and a device that allows those with disabilities to vote brings the total approved for purchase at $65,274.
